The Selfie Ball was created by Dr. Dré Cleveland, Your Personal POWER Coach, and founder of Girl Get Your Life Together, to honor the magic, power, and glow-up of Black women. This night is a reminder that your healing is sacred, your love is magnetic, and your power is unstoppable. We’re celebrating in full glam, with food, cocktails, affirmations, manifestation magic, and a soundtrack that speaks to your soul. The Manifestation Wall & Interactive Stations turn The Selfie Ball into a hands-on healing and glow-up experience. From writing affirmations to setting intentions, creating vision, or releasing what doesn’t serve you, each activation is designed to help you reconnect with your desires and take up space unapologetically. It’s cute, sacred, transformational, and intentionally curated for Black women, like you, who are ready to manifest more.
The Performances & Speakers at The Selfie Ball are more than entertainment, they’re medicine. Each artist, storyteller, and speaker is handpicked to pour into the room with messages of healing, self-love, and manifestation. From live performances inspired by the Girl Get Your Life Together album to transformational mini talks by women who’ve turned their pain into power, this part of the night feeds both the soul and the spirit. It’s a vibe, a testimony, and a reminder that our stories are sacred...and so are we.
The GGYLT Legacy Impact Award Ceremony is one of the most powerful moments of The Selfie Ball. It’s where we pause to honor Black women who are not just creating success for themselves, but building legacy through community, empowerment, and impact. These women are leaders, healers, and visionaries who are shifting the culture by showing other Black women what’s possible. Their work deserves more than applause, it deserves a crown.
We will also be honoring a very special woman with our Legacy Icon Award. She has impacted many of our lives as a healer and visionary in the space of transformation in our community for decades, and we are so humbled to be able to present her with this award.
